"Whenever God pulls back a bow, the arrow is going to go further than it's ever gone before. I believe that the turning point is going to be 2010."

(Dallas, Texas)—Although pastor T.D. Jakes usually doesn't make New Years' declarations, he has said in a recent video message the he expects 2010 to be a year of "double portion."

"The Bible is not mystical about loss. It's just the modern day teachers

that we have today that led us down the wrong path to thinking that there would be no challenges," he noted. "The Bible has always been clear that there would be losses. But He promised to restore the years [of] cankerworms."

As reported in The Christian Post, the pastor of the Potter House alluded to a Biblical passage in the Old Testament book of Joel, calling 2009 a year when cankerworms, palmerworms and locusts ate into people's resources, retirements and homes. But just as Joel prophesied in the Bible, Jakes reportedly believes God will restore in the new year what was taken away.

"When you look at 2010, I believe it is time for us ... to look at the fact that we have been through enough things, been through enough turmoil that now we're ready to move to the next level," he declared, noting that 20 is "10 carried into a double dimension."

"Whenever God pulls back a bow, the arrow is going to go further than it's ever gone before," he said. "I believe that the turning point is going to be 2010. I believe because we have crossed this Jordan like Elijah and Elisha that we are now eligible to step into a double portion. Financially, yes. We need it; our country needs it; our world needs it. But beyond that, wisdom, inspiration, a new development of faith; I believe new ministries are going to burst wide open."

There is a caveat, however. "If no strategy is in place to propel yourself forward," he said, "you won't be prepared to move forward to the next dimension. If you're planning to use all the struggle of 2009 to propel you for 2010, I believe you will be blessed."

"The Mounting Tension" [Chuck D. Pierce]

The Lord is saying, "There is a mounting tension in that conflict that you've been confronted with. But that mounting tension is creating a major breakthrough on your behalf. So do not back up from the mounting tension. Do not shrink back from the conflict, for the breakthrough will be great.

"Because you endured the trauma of your change, and because you've waited for Me, I will now rest a burning upon you. The way that needs to be cleared and burned for you in the next 10 days is now beginning to be prepared. The waiting has produced a burning. The burning has caused you to have an authority. So now watch Me take you into the place you've waited for. Yield the reins of your heart. Yield the reins and let Me draw you. The flame is beginning to rise up within you, for I have ways to be made. I have assignments to be handed forth. Yield your heart, for I will send some of you to an unusual place and there you will meet a need for Me. In meeting a need for Me, I will meet what you've been asking Me for.

"What is that you have faith for? What is it that you are not looking for Me to manifest around you? What is it that you have faith for? There is a prayer of faith to be prayed this week. Let Me give you the prayer of faith. What is it do you have faith for - a relationship? What is it that you are really going to pray the prayer of faith over this next week? This isn't a week of anxiety praying. This isn't a week of praying and striving. This is a week of the prayer of faith. Rise up, and in a moment when I call you forth, you will hear the one prayer that you pray and watch for Me to do. Listen for faith! Young people, pray for that one friend that I give you. Pray for that one friend to be drawn in. You'll hear deep in your spirit and My faith will join with your decree. Many things will be placed on My altar, for the prayer of faith is a prayer that ascends and brings to Me the issue that I have revealed in your heart. The prayer of faith will make them well. The prayer of faith will make them well. I'm going to begin to restore the prayer of faith to My people."

The ARROW of Victory!

This is the best month of the year to gain strategy and victory over your enemy. We will soon enter the beginning of Chanukah. Chanukah is an eight day celebration that commemorates the rededication of the Temple. During the Feast we celebrate that the oil and light never go out.

Kislev is the month of Benjamin - the most gifted with the art of the bow! He was the only one of Jacob's children born in the land of promise. Watch Israel carefully during this month. Think of the bow and the arrow. This is a month to develop your warfare strategies and receive prophetic revelation for war. Shoot straight this month and move quickly. As we presented the ARROW for our First Fruits gathering, remember not only to strike your enemy and take victory but extend that victory into the years ahead and to the generations to come.

In this time to fight we must enter into a new level of trust and rest. Let your trust, confidence, and support go to a new level. Be sure you have snipped off all tendrils from the past season, come full circle, and are moving with clarity in this next season. Watch for rainbows this month. They indicate that peace is coming into your warfare. Record all of your dreams this month. This is a month of night vision or the "month of dreams" where your future is being revealed or aligned. In a year of digging new wells, this is the time for the belly/womb/abdomen/river of God to break into a new level of fullness. We are asking the Lord to develop new relationships so we each have the ability to understand our next measure.

The Lord is saying, "Come up here and I will show you things you have never seen before. Do not come up in the old way. In this last season you strove in what you did so do not try to follow your old way of sacrificing. Let Me put a new, fresh sacrifice in your heart and hand. Do not observe the heavenly realm around you in the old way. I will press out a new portion in you; there is a new measure of faith and vision that I will open to you. You will hear one word from My mouth and faith will explode. The enemy has tried to attach to your failures and mistakes from the last season, but I will remove them from you. I will clothe you with a new mantle and you will wear the shine of Heaven.

"Some of you are lagging behind in the old because of your emotional need. You are refusing to come to the table and sup with Me. I have positioned you one way, but you are still longing to be established in another way. Come up! Get in position and don't look back. Come up! Get positioned and don't turn back. You have been seated with Me in heavenly places. Come UP, receive this new mantle and go back. Shut every door and keep out the devil. Block his forward movement. Do not let certain things come with you into your land of promise. Express thanksgiving with your will! I will fill you with new strength if you will just shut the door and say, 'That will not cross over this season!' I will end this season for you in surprising ways and you will move with new confidence into the place I have positioned for you.

"I am shutting the door on vain imaginations. Get control of them by the Spirit and move into what I have for you. This is a time for your eyes to be opened to My plan. I am going to show you how the devil has been working to subtly distract and keep you out of victory. More importantly, I will show you his plan to keep you from entering into a mindset for victory. When you recognize his strategy to block you, say, 'I have shut the door on you. I am choosing to move forward in a new way!' Do not belabor the last season or what the enemy did to you. Do not belabor how you've been ensnared. Shut the door and say, 'Now I see.'

"Move on! I have been taking you through emotional stresses and strains. I am straining out that which has been vain, causing you to have sure vision. I can cause you to see and be prepared to advance quickly with Me. I am readying you to move forward into new opportunities. Ready and train yourself with Me. I am ready for you to shut the door of LOST HOPE and open and enter into another door of HOPE REALIZED.

"Release your reins from the past! Release your reins from the past! Some of you have moved on but are still holding a rein from the past for security. This rein is affecting your kidneys. The power of its directing force is causing spirits of fear to attach to your inward parts and stop the river of confidence that I have for your future. You think that you are tidying up past mistakes and trying to work our missteps, but that rein from the past is actually pulling you in a wrong direction. LET GO of the reins from your past and I will ease your way and accelerate you into a new path. I will bring things into your path so you can clearly see what is still trying to pull on you. There are still pulls, there are still tendrils, there are still tentacles, and there are still reins that are keeping you from hearing Me say, 'GET UP AND GO'. Like a horse, I am slapping you on the behind and saying, 'Get up! We must advance more quickly. We have much ground to cover in this earth and many atmospheres to change. We have transformational assignments waiting.' Therefore, let go, be transformed and renewed, and move with Me."

         When I read the brief on what was contained in the National Health Care bill that is now being presented before Congress, I could not believe I was reading something that was actually being considered in the United States of America. This is not about money or government mismanagement—this is about something far more diabolical than that. As incomprehensible as it may seem, this is about euthanasia, the power to determine who lives or dies in America. Hitler and Stalin would have loved to have had a means such as this for dispatching the millions they killed—it would have made their job much easier, and probably given them the ability to kill many more than they did. THIS BILL IS THAT SINISTER. This is not a joke—this is actually the nature of what is being proposed in the National Health Care legislation, and it is the obvious reason why the Obama Administration wants to ram it through Congress before anyone gets a chance to read it.

         I have resolved to always be as generous as I can toward people with opposing views of my own. I do this because I believe it is the mandate of I Corinthians 13 to always believe the best about people, rather than the worst. I know this opens me up to be misled by some, but I consider that a small price to pay to not become cynical. I also do it because I think it is wise to always try and understand the position of my opponents—to be open to consider their positions and not be too rigid or inflexible to change because we all “see in part,” and “know in part.” Because of this, I have been chided for being too generous by giving those I do challenge grace by believing that they had not thought through the consequences of their proposals, or had other good intentioned reasons for doing what they were doing. However, after reading the brief on this health care bill, I don’t see how anyone could not see that there is profound evil and evil intent at work here. I just do not see any way to be any more generous with those who proposed this bill than that. It is that bad.

         This bill is obviously designed to put the authority to determine who lives and dies in America into the hands of government bureaucrats. As outrageous as that seems, it is true—you can read it yourself. It even gives the government access to all of your accounts, and the authority to make withdrawals. I know this is hard to believe, but you can read it yourself.

Do you want a government bureaucrat to determine if your mother or father can receive treatment, even in life and death cases? Would you want a government bureaucrat to determine if your child, or you, could receive treatment, even when it means life or death? Think of the best experience that you ever had working with a government bureaucrat, and then think about them having the power to make a potentially life or death choice for your child, your parents, or for you. This is actually what is being proposed.

Add to that chilling thought the fact that this bureaucrat does not have to know one thing about medicine to be in that position. In fact, this bill proposes letting the government define what quality health care is and impose that definition on health care workers. Nowhere does it even specify what training, expertise, or qualifications this all-powerful government bureaucrat has to have to be placed in the position to make such ultimate decisions for the health, well-being, and even the lives of Americans.

Am I being too hard on bureaucrats, or the Obama Administration’s intentions? Certainly there are many bureaucrats who are sincere and true public servants. I agree that such are deserving of our appreciation and respect. The modern world could not exist without them.. Think of the most noble and conscientious there are. What kind of position would we be putting them in to have to go to work every day and decide who is going to get treatment, who is going to have to go on a waiting list and for how long, and who are they going to have to just let die?

Who could live with such a job? There are many who could, who would just see it as paperwork, and those are the ones who would be in that position because the truly noble ones could not endure it. Hitler found many who could dispatch thousands each day, and then go home and enjoy their own families at night. There are people with that kind of moral disconnect. These jobs will be filled and by the very ones we would never want in such positions.

It is beyond anything I thought I would ever see in my lifetime that such a bill could ever be seriously considered in the U.S. Congress. This bill has the potential for totalitarian control to be imposed on America to a degree that Hitler and Stalin could not have even imagined. With the technology available now, totalitarian control can very quickly be imposed to a degree far beyond what was attained by either the Nazis or the Communists, and this bill has provisions in it for just that. It mandates the sharing of all of your personal information, from just about every conceivable source, with the new health care bureaucracy being set up to implement this national health care system. The penalties for trying to escape this web are serious. This would actually make America into a national concentration camp, and we can be sure that ultimately it will be a national death camp.
